The Temporary Skilled Migration Income Threshold (TSMIT) has increased again, impacting employer-sponsored visas such as the 482, 186, and 494.
- From 1 July 2024 - TSMIT rose to $73,150
- From 1 July 2025 - It has increased further to $76,515
These changes apply to new nomination applications only. Employers must now ensure their job offers meet the new threshold or the Annual Market Salary Rate (AMSR) — whichever is higher.
What this means:
- Employers - Update salaries and recruitment plans.
- Migrants - Check that job offers meet the new requirements.
At Ezyvisa Migration, we help employers and skilled workers navigate these changes smoothly.
